To be totally candid, I'm exhausted. I've been working non-stop for months to get my 'Inscribe Your Life' program ready for you, and was again up until 4am last night working on it to meet an important deadline. I've been shooting videos for the last two days, traveling over a thousand miles away, and doing a million and one other things that I don't have time to do... yet somehow I find the time.
So I'm sure you understand when I say, "I don't have time to write this newsletter."
However, as I say that I'm reminded of a story Dan Millman once told. I'm paraphrasing, but it goes something like this:
"Once day I was extremely busy, running very late, and on top of all of that I had to stop at the store to pick something up on the way. When the clerk arrived, I said to him, 'Hi. I'm really really late and in a rush. Would you please take your time and go *slower* than you normally would? Seriously.'"
Why?
Or why is it when Deepak Chopra tells people to meditate 30 minutes a day, and when they say, "I don't have time to meditate 30 minutes a day," he says, "Then you need to meditate 2 hours a day instead"?
The reason is that in the times when we are stressed the most, when we have the least amount of time, when we are conflicted, when we are challenged... those are the greatest opportunities for spiritual development.
When we're put to the test, that's what truly defines the way we live our lives. It's easy to be spiritual when life is easy. It's not so easy to be spiritual when we feel pulled in so many directions we forget which way is forward.
Right now, that would be an understatement to describe my life. So which way is forward, again? :) Still, I write. I share. This is what I love, this makes my heart sing, and I truly am grateful to be of service.
So today, although I "don't have enough time" I still have a few stories to share with you and a blog post. You see, so often we view certain things outside of ourselves as having the salvation to our problems. We believe the next pay raise will make our finances better, or that the new car or new boyfriend/girlfriend will make us happier, or that the next spiritual program will be the answer to us becoming "spiritual."
But there is no true single answer.
Yes I do know that my 'Inscribe Your Life' program is going to change peoples' lives in very meaningful, significant, unimagineable ways. However, it's not for everybody and I don't believe it is a single answer. Instead, it is a stepping stone, it is a tool, that you can use in your own spiritual journey.

And now for some stories...
That's all for now - next Wednesday I'm going to start sharing with you more specific details about 'Inscribe Your Life.' I wish for you a wonderful day :)
