Spiritual Movie Reviews
I watch lots of movies, so when I find one with a spiritual message, I like to share it. I hope to pique your interest enough to consider movies you wouldn't normally, or maybe haven't even heard of.

This page is updated frequently (see below) with all spiritual movies I've watched after creating the 25 "MUST SEE" Spiritual Movies e-book which you can download for free by subscribing to the mailing list on the left.

Conversations With God
You'll have your heart strings tugged while you watch the laws of attraction in full force as this movie beautifully integrates the most important ideas from the book along with the life events that led Neale Donald Walsch to write it.

Sometimes we are not ready to see certain things, but this movie makes it clear that the old proverb is true:

“When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.” The real question to you is: Are you ready now?

I'm not big fan of the Conversations with God books, but I did enjoy the movie. It's essentially a rag to riches story, and I always enjoy those.

I felt a little unfulfilled regarding the spiritual angle to it. It seemed like Walsh was "granted" divine insight. He didn't seem to earn it. Never saw him meditate, pray or do anything particularly spiritual.

I'll assume, IF the story is true, that he merited such Divine Contact from spiritual efforts in a past life. But, I find it misleading the way it was portrayed.

Thousands of people are unemployed or struggling financially... waiting for God to reveal a bestseller to them is a rather futile way to live.

I found Chris Gardner's film, "In Pursuit of HappYness" much more inspiring and realistic and spiritual.

This movie was fantastic, although it does not compare to the books - they are mind-blowing with wisdom and inspiration.

As apposed to John above, I have to disagree about Walsh earning or not earning divine insight. We all earn it because we all have it, we just have to be open to it and many, never mind - most are not.

It is a really touching story about the transformations that can occur in each one of us, if we are open and willing.
